 Rivers Rest is 45 minutes from the breathtaking Multnomah Falls and only five minutes to the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge

Beacon Rock State Park

 Near the river gorge of the Columbia River, Beacon Rock State Park is where you can see the rock which Lewis and Clark crossed paths with twice in their famous expedition. Visitors can enjoy rock-climbing, mountain-biking, and hiking. Beacon Rock State Park is one of the most famous rock-climbing spots in the Washington Area.

Rivers Rest has two sets of golf clubs in case you would like to play golf at Beacon Rock Golf Course, or Skamania Lodge which also has a zip line for you to enjoy. Nearby is a tennis and a pickle ball court.  Carson Hot Springs is 50 minutes away and soak in the public mineral hot tub

 Our location is ideal day trips. Explore Hood River, the Mary Hill Museum, Washington Park and Oregon Zoo, Forrest Park, Waterfall Alley which includes Multnomah Falls. Hike Beacon Rock, Rodney Falls, or Hamilton or Dog Mountain. Spend the day at Lacamas Lake, hiking or rent either a stand up paddle board or a Kayak.
